Dear JFKS Elementary School Families,
Thank you so much for your support during these difficult times with the Corona pandemic.
As many of you are aware we have received numerous reports of elementary students with positive PCR tests, positive rapid tests and/or needing to quarantine due to contact with a person who tested positive. Today we have also sent three classes home due to a high number of confirmed and potential cases in their classroom.
This is the information we can provide you with at this time:
- We will be completing self-testing with students both Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
- The Department of Health and our Superintendents are aware of our current situation and will continue to have on-going communication with us about our plan of action for the next two days.
- Please limit your contacts as much as possible and notify your homeroom teacher and the Elementary School office if your child is sick, awaiting PCR test results or in quarantine.

Liebe Familien der JFKS Grundschule,
vielen Dank für Ihre Unterstützung in diesen schwierigen Zeiten der Corona-Pandemie.
Wie Sie vielleicht schon wissen, haben wir zahlreiche Meldungen von Grundschülern erhalten, die positive PCR-Tests oder Schnelltests erhalten haben und/oder aufgrund des Kontakts mit einer positiv-getesteten Person unter Quarantäne gestellt werden mussten. Heute haben wir auch drei Klassen nach Hause geschickt, weil in ihrer Klasse eine hohe Anzahl von Fällen aufgetreten ist.
Dies sind die Informationen, die wir Ihnen zur Zeit geben können:
- Wir werden diese Woche sowohl am Dienstag als auch am Mittwoch Selbsttests mit den Schülern durchführen.
- Das Gesundheitsamt und der Senat sind über die aktuelle Situation informiert und werden sich mit uns über unseren Aktionsplan für die nächsten zwei Tage austauschen.
- Bitte schränken Sie Ihre Kontakte so weit wie möglich ein und benachrichtigen Sie Ihre Klassenlehrerin oder Ihren Klassenlehrer und das Sekretariat der Grundschule, wenn Ihr Kind krank ist, Sie auf PCR-Testergebnisse warten oder das Kind sich in Quarantäne befindet.
