Liebe Eltern,
Wir heißen Sie im neuen Schuljahr an der JFKS herzlich willkommen!
Die Krise der Pandemie ist leider noch nicht überstanden und so starten wir in ein Schuljahr mit vielen Herausforderungen und Ungewissheiten. Die Kultusministerkonferenz und die Länder haben die weitgehende Öffnung und Rückkehr zum Regelunterricht beschlossen. Trotz dieser Rückkehr zum Regelbetrieb werden die Auswirkungen der Pandemie weiterhin sowohl auf die Schulorganisation als auch auf die Unterrichtsgestaltung Einfluss nehmen.
Die Gesundheit aller am Schulleben Beteiligten hat für uns oberste Priorität und dementsprechend haben wir unsere Planungen und Regelungen zum Schulbetrieb angepasst.
Bitte haben Sie Verständnis dafür, dass auch wir nicht immer sofort Lösungen zur sich ständig ändernden Situation parat haben. Seien Sie aber versichert, dass wir unser Möglichstes tun, um den Regelunterricht und ggf. den Hybridunterricht so zu planen, dass die Schülerinnen und Schüler die notwendigen Lerninhalte bei gleichzeitiger Minimierung des Infektionsrisikos erhalten.
Im Anhang erhalten Sie die Informationen zum Schuljahresbeginn, die Ihre Kinder heute per Mail bekommen haben. Da sie wichtige Angaben zur Organisation und zum Ablauf des ersten Schultages enthalten, möchten wir Sie bitten, noch einmal nachzufragen, ob Ihr Kind diese Mail erhalten und zur Kenntnis genommen hat.
Im Folgenden möchten wir Sie noch einmal auf wichtige Aspekte hinweisen:
1. Generell gilt eine Maskenpflicht auf dem gesamten Schulgelände.
Eltern und SchülerInnen müssen dafür sorgen, dass immer eine Maske und eine Ersatzmaske vorhanden ist. In Ausnahmefällen können Masken für 50 Cent Sekretariat erworben werden. Bei Nichteinhaltung dieser Regel trotz Ermahnungen werden die betreffenden SchülerInnen nach Hause geschickt.
2. Sollte Ihre Familie vor weniger als zwei Wochen aus einem durch das RKI definierten Risikogebiet zurückgekehrt sein, muss die geltende Quarantäne eingehalten werden. Bitte informieren Sie in diesem Fall das Sekretariat.
3. Bis auf Weiteres Eltern dürfen das Schulgelände nur mit vorheriger Terminvereinbarung betreten. Bitte vereinbaren Sie vorab Termine mit den Personen, die Sie sprechen möchten. Eine schriftliche Bestätigung des Termins muss dem Sicherheitspersonal am Haupttor vorgelegt werden und entsprechend die Kontaktdaten hinterlegt werden.
Sollten Sie als Elternteil das Schulgelände betreten, tragen Sie bitte eine Maske.
4. Sollte sich Ihr Kind unwohl fühlen oder Symptome von Covid 19 zeigen, so lassen Sie Ihr Kind bitte Zuhause und informieren Sie die Klassenleitung. Stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass die Schule über aktuelle und verlässliche Kontaktdaten verfügt, so dass wir Sie beim Auftreten von Krankheitssymptomen während der Unterrichtszeit erreichen können. Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass ihr Kind in diesem Fall innerhalb einer Stunde von der Schule abgeholt werden kann.
5. Wie in dem Schreiben der Senatsschulverwaltung an die Schulleitungen vom 10. Juni 2020 aufgeführt, gilt weiterhin:
Schülerinnen und Schüler, die wegen einer Grunderkrankung bei einer Infektion ein erhöhtes Risiko für einen schweren Verlauf der Krankheit haben können, müssen dies der Schule durch Vorlage einer entsprechenden ärztlichen Bescheinigung nachweisen. In diesem Fall erfolgt bis auf Weiteres das schulisch angeleitete Lernen zu Hause. Dies gilt auch, wenn eine andere im Haushalt (…) lebende Person zur Risikogruppe gehört und dies ärztlich bescheinigt wird.
Für den hier genannten Fall bedarf es eines Antrages der Erziehungsberechtigten, bzw. der volljährigen Schülerinnen und Schüler, die eine sorgfältige Abwägung des Einzelfalls durch die Schulleitung erforderlich macht (vgl. KMK-Beschluss vom 14. Juli 2020). Diese Schülerinnen und Schüler können dann unter bestimmten Bedingungen gegebenenfalls ausschließlich schulisch angeleitet zu Hause unterrichtet werden. In dem Antragsverfahren wird zuvor jedoch geprüft, ob die betroffenen Schülerinnen und Schüler zeitweise abseits des Regelbetriebs Präsenzunterricht in Kleingruppen erhalten können, auch um Klausuren und andere Leistungsüberprüfungen unter Aufsicht zu absolvieren. Sollte auch das nicht möglich sein, da z.B. die häusliche Wohnung aus gesundheitlichen Gründen nur noch in Notfällen verlassen werden darf, so ist dies durch eine entsprechende ergänzende ärztliche Bescheinigung nachzuweisen. In diesem Fall werden wir das für uns zuständige SIBUZ beratend hinzuziehen.
6. Klassenfahrten finden derzeit nicht statt. Exkursionen sind grundsätzlich möglich, sollen dabei aber nur als Klasse oder Kurs und ohne die Nutzung öffentlicher Verkehrsmittel durchgeführt werden.
Wir danken Ihnen für Ihr Verständnis und Ihre Unterstützung für die von uns durchgeführten Maßnahmen, um sowohl SchülerInnen und KollegInnen zu schützen und das Infektionsrisiko zu reduzieren.
Trotz aller Widrigkeiten freuen wir uns darauf, alle SchülerInnen am Montag wieder begrüßen zu dürfen und wünschen allen Familien der Schulgemeinschaft alles Gute!

Important information regarding the start of the school year
Dear Parents,
We are happy to welcome you and your student back for the new school year at JFKS!
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic is not yet over and so we find ourselves starting the school year with many challenges and uncertainties. The board of Cultural Ministers (Kultusministerkonferenz) and the state government of Berlin have decided to reopen and return to in-person teaching and learning. Despite this return to our regular operations, the effects of the health crisis will continue to have an impact on both the organizational and pedagogical sides of our school.
The health of everyone involved in our community is our top priority and we have worked to adapt our daily operations and regulations accordingly.
Please understand that the situation is constantly changing and that we do not always have immediate solutions. Be assured, however, that we are working diligently to coordinate our in-person lessons and, if applicable, hybrid lessons in such a way that students receive the necessary content while minimizing the risk of infection.
Attached you will find information about the start of the school year that was sent to your child via their school email account. As this contains important information about new protocols, plans, and the first day of school, we ask that you ensure that your child has received this email and has taken note of it.
We would like to highlight the following important changes:
1. In general, it is mandatory to wear a mask while on school campus.
Parents and students must ensure that a mask and a spare mask are always available. In exceptional cases, masks can be purchased for .50 cents from the secretary. If this rule is not observed despite repeated warnings, the student will be sent home.
2. If your family returned less than two weeks ago from a risk area defined by the RKI, the current quarantine of two weeks must be observed. In this case, please inform the school secretary.
3. Until further notice, parents may only enter the school premises by making an appointment in advance. Please bring written confirmation (ex: email) of your appointment and present it to the security staff at the main gate. We also ask that you sign in with your contact information at the security building. If you enter the school premises, please wear a mask.
4. If your child feels unwell or shows symptoms of Covid 19, please keep your child home and inform the homeroom teacher. Additionally, please ensure that the school has up-to-date and reliable contact information should we need to reach you if symptoms or illness occur during class time. Please make sure that your child can be picked up from the school within one hour.
5. As stated in the letter from the Senate School Administration to the school management dated June 10, 2020, the following still applies:
Students who, due to an underlying disease, may have an increased risk of a severe course of the disease due to an infection and must prove this to the school by presenting a corresponding medical certificate. In this case, school-guided learning will take place at home until further notice. This also applies if another person living in the household (…) belongs to the risk group and this is certified by a doctor.
The case mentioned here requires the legal guardian or adult student to inform the school administration. At that point, the administration will review the circumstances on a case-by- case basis (see KMK resolution of July 14, 2020). In the review process, it will be determined if the student can receive occasional in-person lessons in small groups, outside of regular operations and can also complete exams and other performance reviews under supervision. Under certain conditions, these students can, if necessary, be taught at home with school guidance. Should that not be possible, e.g. the home may only be left in emergencies for health reasons, this must be proven by a corresponding, supplementary medical certificate. In this case, we will consult SIBUZ for advice.
6. School trips are currently not taking place. Excursions are possible but should only be carried out with the class and may not use public transport.
We thank you for your understanding and support for the measures we have taken to protect both students and colleagues as we attempt to reduce the risk of infection.
