| Neues aus der JFKS-Grundschulbibliothek Wir freuen uns darauf, das neue Schuljahr in der Bibliothek zu beginnen! Bitte denken Sie daran, alle Bibliotheks- bücher in die Schule zurückzubringen. Die Schüler_innen können die Bücher an ihrem regulären Bibliothekstag zurück- geben oder sie in den Rückgabebehälter vor der Bibliothek legen. Die Buchaus- leihe beginnt in der darauffolgenden Woche. Elternstunde – Die Elternstunde wird in den ersten Schulwochen nicht stattfinden. Weitere Informationen werden zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt bekannt gegeben. | News from the JFKS Elementary Library We are excited to start the school year in the library! High School Library Information
Welcome back to the high school library! Here are a few guidelines to make sure the beginning of the school year goes smoothly. I will be making this information available in the library Google folder in German and English by the end of August.
- Opening Times.
- Monday-Wednesday: 7:45-16:00
- Thursday-Friday: 7:45-15:00. This is a change from last year!
- Covid Measures.
- All must wear masks.
- As much as possible, keep at least 1.5 meters distance.
- Students from all grades may enter. This may change, depending on regulations
- Online:
- library website: Choose High School.
- Databases and other resources: German and English
- Catalog: look up books, reserve them, create lists of books. Ask for a tutorial.
- Youtube channel–in process, research tutorials, and book talks
- library website: Choose High School.
- Books:
- You may borrow up to 10 books at once. The loan period is 3 weeks.
- Fines for overdue books begin again this year. If we go into distance learning, there will be no fines for that period. Talk to Ms. Kessler with questions.
- Summer books are due by Friday, 20. September, but you may return starting the first day of school.
- The book drop is outside the library entrance.
