Donations for Straßenkinder e.V. (until January 31)
Dear JFKS Students and Families,
In keeping with the tradition of helping the most vulnerable, this Christmas the Religion Department is collecting donations for the Berlin Straßenkinder e.V. Donations can be brought to the boxes set up under the Religion Board outside of R244 in the main hallway until January 31st 2025.
Requested Donations:
- Travel Size / Small:
- Shampoo
- Spray Deo
- Shower Gel
- Wet Wipes
- 0,2L Juice/drink boxes
- Granola Bars
- Instant Soup
- Ramen
- Canned soups / Ravioli – which can be opened without a can opener
- 5 x Winter Coats – Adult Size M,L, preferred dark colors: “Warm winter jackets are expensive and seldom donated – but they are a matter of survival in Winter.”
- 10x Black Hooded Sweatshirts – Adult size XL: “Many of the street kids and youth only have the clothes that they wear.That is why it is important for us as a center to offer a fresh change of clothes. We stock XL to make sure they fit everyone.”
- 10x Solid Colored Black T-Shirts single or multi pack in size XL-XXL
- 10x Solid Colored Black Sweatpants / Jogging pants in size XL
- 5x Largish multi-function black Backpacks: “If you carry everything with you – nothing can get stolen.” This is the reality of the street kids.
