Dear Parents,

Unless an agreement is reached quickly, there will be a train strike from Wednesday morning (02:00) through Friday evening (18:00) which will affect the S-Bahn and regional trains in Berlin. The BVG (busses, trams and U-Bahn) will not be affected.

Any delays due to the strike or increased traffic will be excused by the homeroom teacher, however, please be sure to plan accordingly and leave extra early. Thank you for planning ahead!

Wenn es nicht noch vorzeitig zu einer Einigung kommt, wird es von Mittwochmorgen (02:00 Uhr) bis Freitagabend (18:00 Uhr) einen Bahnstreik geben, der die S-Bahnen und Regionalzüge in Berlin betrifft. Die BVG (Busse, Straßenbahnen und U-Bahnen) werden nicht betroffen sein.

aufgrund der positive Erfahrungen vom letzten Bahn-Streik, erwarten wir die Schülerinnen und Schüler morgen um 8:00 Uhr zum regulären Unterricht. Verspätungen aufgrund des Streiks oder erhöhten Verkehrsaufkommens werden von der Klassenleitung entschuldigt. 

Eltern, deren Kinder üblicherweise die S-Bahn nutzen, sollten rechtzeitig alternative Routen erkunden. Vielen Dank, dass Sie vorplanen!

due to the positive experiences from the last train strike, we expect students to be at school beginning at 8:00 am for a regular day of instruction. Any delays due to the strike or increased traffic will be excused by the homeroom teacher.

Parents whose children usually use the S-Bahn should explore alternative transport routes in good time. Thank you for planning ahead!
