8th Grade Ski Trip 2016 – Update II

We have completed our first week of the 8th grade ski trip and it has been a wonderful week!  The students have now skied a total of 4 days and enjoyed one “ski free day” during which they had a variety of fun activities to partake in.  Although we started the trip with approximately 40 “beginners”, we are happy to report that ALL of our students have now taken a lift and can make nice turns down the slopes.  The students have experienced a variety of snow conditions from powder, to packed freshly groomed runs, to spring conditions.

We have had many days of sunshine, including beautiful blue skies on our “ski free” day.  During this day the students could chose wether to go swimming, shopping, or hiking.  Due to the beautiful weather and the positive attitudes of the students, everyone had a great day off from skiing.

We look forward to 5 more days of skiing and one more ski free day before our return next Friday.  The weather forecast calls for some fresh snow as well as some sunshine.  We couldn’t ask for more.
