Admissions

Thank you for your interest in the John F. Kennedy School.

On these pages you will find information on the admissions process in both the Elementary and the High School.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding the application procedure. The Welcome Office is happy to answer all questions you might have.

Please be advised that admission is contingent upon the applicant, both at the time of application and at the beginning of the school year, being registered as living within Berlin’s city limits (see para. I, 1 of the “Admissions Regulations”). For applicants moving to Berlin, proof of residency in Berlin must be submitted before the beginning of the school year.

Please note:

Thank you for your interest in JFKS.

Unless you are a US Embassy family or are incoming JFKS staff with priority status relocating to Berlin in summer 2016, JFKS is no longer accepting applications for the the 2016-17 school year. Students have already been admitted for all available spaces, and JFKS is full for the school year 2016-17.

If you are a US Embassy or JFKS staff family, please contact our Welcome Office: Welcome Office

Starting on September 1, 2016, JFKS will begin accepting applications for the 2017-18 school year. For children born in 2012, we will begin accepting Entrance Class applications on October 1, 2016.
