Stolpersteinverlegung (21.03.)
Am 21.3 fand die geplante Stolpersteinverlegung in der Gelfertstr. 47a statt. Dank des grossen Einsatzes durch einen Bake Sale der 6. Klasse des jüdischen Religionsunterrichts konnten in der Gelfertstr. zwei von insgesamt drei Stolpersteinen gespendet und verlegt werden.
Beginnend mit einem wunderbaren Solo von Ophelia L. haben die SchülerInnen “Shalom Chaverim” und zum Abschluss ” Hewenu Shalom” gesungen. Sophie E. hatte die wunderbare Gelegenheit die Biographien zu verlesen.
Die Deutschklasse von und mit Fr. Senkel war ebenfalls anwesend sowie einige Lehrkräfte und zahlreiche Eltern. Kantorin Esther Hirsch war ebenfalls extra für die Stolpersteinverlegung vor Ort und sang während der Veranstaltung mehrere Gebete.
Dank Fr. Saupe war auch ein besonderer Gast ebenfalls anwesend. S.E. der Botschafter des Staates Israel Ron Prosor, nahm sich die Zeit, um die Hände der Schülerinnen und Schüler zu schütteln und auch von seiner persönlicher Familiengeschichte in Berlin zu erzählen.
Es war eine sehr besondere und berührende Veranstaltung und alle Anwesenden waren tief beeindruckt von dem Einsatz der 6-Klässler.
Der Verein Martin-Niemöller-Haus Berlin-Dahlem e.V. übernimmt seit 2024 die Verantwortung für das Thema „Stolpersteine“ für den Ev. Kirchenkreis Teltow-Zehlendorf
Alle 6. Klässler, die sich am dieser Stolpersteinverlegung beteiligt haben, bekamen für Ihren außerordentliche Einsatz eine Urkunde von Frau Eckhardt aus dem Martin-Niemöller-Haus.
On March 21, the planned laying of stumbling stones took place at Gelfertstr. 47a. Thanks to the great effort of a bake sale of the 6th grade Jewish religious education class, two of a total of three stumbling stones could be donated and laid in Gelfertstr.
Beginning with a wonderful solo by Ophelia L., the students sang “Shalom Chaverim” and concluded with “Hewenu Shalom”. Sophie E. had the wonderful opportunity to read the biographies.
Ms. Senkel and her German class were also present as well as some teachers and numerous parents. Cantor Esther Hirsch was also there for the laying of the stumbling stones and sang several prayers during the event.
Thanks to Mrs. Saupe, a special guest was also present. H.E. the Ambassador of the State of Israel, Ron Prosor, took the time to shake the hands of the students and also to tell them about his personal family history in Berlin.
It was a very special and touching event and all those present were deeply impressed by the commitment of the 6th graders.
The Martin-Niemöller-Haus Berlin-Dahlem e.V. association has been responsible for the “Stolpersteine” project for the Protestant church district of Teltow-Zehlendorf since 2024
All 6th graders who participated in the laying of the Stumbling Stones received a certificate from Mrs. Eckhardt from the Martin-Niemöller-Haus for their extraordinary commitment.
