IN MEMORIAM: DR. HANS-KARL BEHREND

We learned about the recent passing of our former colleague and teacher Dr. Hans-Karl Behrend.

Dr. Behrend joined the JFKS faculty in 1969 as the first German High School Principal when the first “Oberstufen-Jahrgang” began. He served JFKS until his retirement in 1994.

Dr. Behrend passed away on October 21, 2024.

We would like to express our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
