IN MEMORIAM: Cynthia Turczyn

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved friend and colleague, Cynthia Joan Turczyn.

Cynthia was a JFKS teacher from 1975 until her retirement in 2015. She will be remembered by many colleagues, alumni and parents for her involvement in choreographing the 5th & 6th Grade Musicals, her delightful art projects and her creative writing with students.

While Cynthia had been ill for a number of months, her death on July 21st came quite unexpectedly and has been a shock to all of us who cared deeply for her.

We would like to express our sincere condolences to her family and friends.
