There are many events in the lives of our children and families that are important to honor. The Celebration Books program recognizes important life events of families, faculty, and staff of our JFKS community by dedicating books in the name of the honorees to the JFK ES Library.
The Celebration Books program allows families to honor family achievements (academic, athletic, etc.), special events such as birthdays, graduations, etc. This program also provides an opportunity to recognize a teacher, coach, or any other special person. For each 25 Euro donation, a bookplate will be placed inside the book to identify the person or event being honored along with the name of the donor. The person honored will receive a certificate indicating the donation in their name.
Please click here for the Order Form. The librarians will do their best to select a new book that honors your dedication, while meeting the curricular needs to our library. In particular, we are looking to replace, enhance and expand our nonfiction books. Our school library works to support the curricular goals established within our division and all materials for the library are selected to fulfill those goals. Please understand that at times, specific title requests may have to be modified.
The JFK Elementary School has an outstanding library with a collection that constantly needs to be renovated, replaced and renewed. With your support of this program, the library collection will continue to grow and be enhanced to better meet the needs of our JFKS community.
