Congrats, Pangea Finalists!
Successful final round of the German Pangea competition
Four of our students had a long, eventful and extremely successful day on Saturday and spent more than 11 hours on the road for the Pangea competition. They had qualified for the final round of the Pangea competition out of almost 70 000 participants nationwide and once again brilliantly solved the math problems they were given. All four were among the top 10 in their grade level in the north-east region of Germany. Three of them also achieved outstanding placings nationwide and were honored with special cash prizes. A special thank you to Mr. Kaufmann for organizing and chaperoning this trip.

- Julius – Grade 9, Regional finals: 8th place (Bronze), German finals: 45th place
- Connor – Grade 4, Regional finals: 1st place (Gold), German finals: 4th place
- Niels – Grade 4, Regional finals: 2nd place (Gold), German finals: 10th place
Bundesweite Erfolge in der Finalrunde des Pangea-Wettbewerbs
Einen langen, ereignisreichen und überaus erfolgreichen Tag haben vier unserer Schüler:innen am Samstag erlebt, als sie aufgrund des Pangea-Wettbewerbs insgesamt mehr als 11 Stunden unterwegs waren. Sie hatten sich aus bundesweit knapp 70 000 Teilnehmern für die Finalrunde des Pangea-Wettbewerbs qualifiziert und lösten die ihnen gestellten Mathematik-Aufgaben abermals mit Bravour. Alle vier gehören zu den Top 10 ihrer Klassenstufe in der Region Nordostdeutschland. Drei von ihnen erreichten sogar bundesweit herausragende Platzierungen und wurden mit besonderen Geldpreisen geehrt.
