2026 Ski Trip Update #1
The first days of our trip have been off to a strong start!
On the Slopes:
The advanced skiers have improved their skills and are enjoying exploring the mountains with their instructors.
The beginner skiers faced a much bigger challenge hiking up the mountain and learning to stop and make their first turns. This year is a strong group of beginners who are learning very quickly and keeping their sense of humor. “Skiing is difficult for me. I spent a lot of time kissing the snow.”
On day 3, a record setting number of beginners were able to use the lift!
Off the Slopes:
The volume in the cafeteria has been deafening. Students are having passionate discussions debating the geography of Madagascar, board game strategies, the pros and cons of organized crime in small towns and how many dirty dishes they can carry to the clean up station without dropping them.
The students are looking forward to a day off skiing tomorrow to rest their sore feet.
The teachers are looking forward to a day off skiing so the kids can clean their rooms and uncover all their missing belongings.
Overall the mood is high and we are pleased to spend time with your kids who have been eager to learn and be polite.
