First Day of School

Grades 7-10

Grade 7 should report to the LARGE AULA at 8 A.M. (per 1)
Grade 8 should report to the SMALL AULA at 8:52 (per 2)
Grade 9 should report to the LARGE AULA at 8:52 (per 2)

Grade 10 should report to their homeroom teachers at 8:52. Room assignments will be on the monitors in the Blue and White buildings.

Grades 11-12:

Diploma and Abitur students get schedules in time to report to period 4 class at 10:37.
Diploma students: Haus Reil
Abitur students: Herr Schulz (W115) and Herr Wiechert (W116).

The JFKS community celebrates the Class of 2016!

The JFKS Rams Girls Lacrosse team finished the season undefeated and Deutsche Meister with a 14-10 victory in the Championship game. Congratulations!

JFKS students Max Hentges and Leopold Aschenbrenner won 4th place in the „Jugend forscht“ German finals. CONGRATULATIONS!

CONGRATULATIONS to our JFKS 3rd graders won 2nd place in the Berlin-wide swimming competition!

Nachdem unser 3. Klasse-Schwimm-Team Ende Mai Bezirksmeister von Steglitz/Zehlendorf wurde, qualifizierte es sich hiermit für das Berlin Finale am 1. Juni.
Hier gelang ihnen das wirklich Unfassbare: Unter den 27 teilnehmenden besten Grundschulen aller Berliner Bezirke erreichten sie den 2. Platz, nur besiegt durch die Georg-Zacharias-Grundschule aus Pankow, die über spezielle Schwimmklassen verfügt, die mehrmals die Woche gezieltes Schwimmtraining erhalten.

Congratulations to the JFKS Odyssey of the Mind Division I and Division II teams for each placing 3rd place in their division in the 2016 Eurofest competition in Gdansk, Poland.

Congratulations to Matilda Ontrop from 6th grade who won the Berlin-wide reading competition and will represent Berlin and the John F. Kennedy School at the German Finals!

On 25.4.16 the JFKS Traffic Committee and the school principals had a very productive meeting with representatives of the City Traffic Control Office, Verkehrslenkung and Ordnungsamt, the Police, and the BVG to assess the traffic situation in front of our school.
