High School Admission

The general admission period for all grade levels ended on March 31, 2017.
However, JFKS is still accepting applications for priority admission from:

  • US Embassy families with diplomatic status
  • US DOD families with orders to Berlin
  • incoming American JFKS teachers

The actual admissions process and requirements depend on the nationality of the parents of the student applying. Please check the respective group – German or American / International students for more details.

Please be advised that admission is contingent upon the applicant being registered as living within Berlin’s city limits at the time of admission (see para. I, 1 of the “Admissions Regulations”). For applicants moving to Berlin, proof of residency in Berlin must be submitted before the beginning of the school year.

From September 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017 JFKS will begin accepting applications for the 2017-18 school year for the High School, grades 7-12.
